WOLVERINES: Their Habits and Habitats

Please join us for an Evening Talk on Wolverines, by Pedro Ramirez, at the Council Tree Library in Fort Collins.
Wednesday, November 13 at 6:30 P.M.

We will start at 6:00 P.M. with a social gathering with snacks and drinks. The talk will begin at 6:30 P.M.

Pedro was a Master’s degree student at the University of Idaho. While there he participated in a wolverine research project in northwestern Montana under Dr. Maurice G. Hornocker. Pedro assisted with live trapping wolverines in the Spotted Bear Ranger District checking the live traps daily on snowmobile from mid-December to early April. As part of the wolverine study, he conducted a small mammal study in the Flathead National Forest in northwestern Montana to determine the relative densities and species of small mammals. Pedro retired after working with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 41 years. In addition to volunteering with PWV, he also volunteers with Scout Troop 97 in Fort Collins.
